Situated within Snowdonia National Park, Dolgethin Guest House is a 150-year-old Victorian property which has been refurbished with modern amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and a guest lounge with TV & DVD player. Free private parking is available at the rear of the property. Go Below Underground Adventures are a 5-minute drive away, and offer visitors the opportunity to traverse over an abyss, scale a waterfall or abseil down the deepest point in Snowdonia - all within abandoned mines. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is set high above Colwyn Bay and can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Many rare and endangered species can be seen at the zoo, which also features scenic gardens. Rooms at Dolgethin have views of either the River Llugwy or the garden and forest. A TV is also included. A full cooked breakfast is served in the dining room, and continental options are also available. Restaurants serving traditional Welsh cuisine can be found within a 10-minute walk, as well as those offering international dishes.
